It is our Sense Of Separation (SOS) from Essence
that Causes Fear, Desire, Grief and Regret.


I might also say that it is our first Sense Of Separation from Love that cause our sense of fear.

Meditation time, used for in-depth contemplation of a previously identified reality (i.e. the nature of self), will give us the time to realize that any reality to this sense of separation is, in truth, impossible.
*Meditation is distinctly different from contemplation, but the words are used somewhat  interchangeably in this article.


Intentional Meditation - Meditation as Reality Therapy

It is known that intention is everything[1], so what we contemplate we get (eventually). Might even say we are what we contemplate. The real question here is, what are we really manifesting. Chances are if we are not clear about what we are manifesting, then we are unclear about what we are really contemplating. Example: contemplating a desire is in actuality affirming a lack, and a means of rectifying or escaping it. In that case we are creating a dream, an illusion, and then willing it. It may work, but what have we accomplished? Another dream, another illusion. It's not the desire we actually want, it's for the sense of lack to change. So if we set our intention in tune with reality instead of in tune with our idea of how to fix it, it will change, guaranteed.

Many people use meditation as a battle ground, using the mind to fight the mind. So in this sense, intention is everything. If we think about the concept of Reality Therapy, we find ourselves naturally wondering the meanings of two words, Reality and Therapy. Therapy might mean anything that is good for the body, and how can we know that something is good for the body if we can't feel it, so therapy can be anything that increases good feeling in the body. Ultimately, feeling Good is feeling God. In that way God Heals, and good therapy results in increased feeling good, or getting better.

The second word of the intentional meditation is Reality. Meditation time, used for in-depth contemplation of a previously identified reality (i.e. the nature of self), will give us the time to realize that any reality to this sense of separation is, in truth, impossible.
Ultimately the physical perception of Unity will increase the level of perceived peace, harmony and love, and the mind will feel secure in laying down its defenses, which will enhance and accelerate the process of healing. Our unconscious is a much more powerful healing agent than our conscious, and it responds gratefully to the surrendering of our consciousness to its aid.

All the normal functions of life are manifestations of the divine.

Professionalism is greatly enhanced by awareness and education - by shifting our perception from our sense of separation to our sense of connection - Reality.

Education from the point of connection is for the purpose of conscious knowing, consciously establishing reality in our own minds.

Nothing is bad, everything is good. The sense of separation is there to cause us to seek resolution in connection, to seek reality. Exploring or objecting to the sense of separation and its motivations causes us to learn about our selves and brings about self-understanding. Self-understanding allows us to compassionately help others - to find their way out of illusion into reality. That helping is part of the process of self realization which is the purpose of life itself. Pleased and Pleasing, you are Attractive and Attracting. Hence the teaching and practice of practice itself.
